Responsibility
- Develop and execute personalized occupational therapy programs for students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments (e.g., sensory profiles, motor skills evaluations) to identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom and home environments.
- Monitor and document student progress using standardized tools and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
- Design and adapt sensory-friendly learning materials and assistive devices to support individual needs.
- Lead group therapy sessions to foster social skills, peer interaction, and cooperative play.
- Provide training and workshops for staff and families on OT strategies and best practices.
- Stay updated on emerging therapies and research in pediatric occupational therapy to ensure evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid license or registration as an Occupational Therapist (preferably with pediatric experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in pediatric or school-based OT settings (Senior role).
- Proven ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and educators.
- Experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and special needs populations.
- Familiarity with sensory integration, fine motor development, and ADL training techniques.
