Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies to support policy development, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including healthcare professionals, policymakers, and external partners, to identify data needs and deliver solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security by establishing robust data governance frameworks and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI, to enhance healthcare delivery.
- Present data insights and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear, compelling manner.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to continuously elevate AIC’s capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- Strong understanding of healthcare data, including electronic health records (EHR), claims data, and population health analytics.
- Experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, AWS Certified Data Analytics) are a plus.
