Responsibility
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patientsâ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine therapy needs.
- Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including adaptive techniques, exercises, and the use of assistive devices.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home modifications, and strategies for independent living.
- Document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in occupational therapy and integrate evidence-based practices into treatment.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with a focus on rehabilitation or geriatrics preferred.
- Valid license or registration to practice Occupational Therapy in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques, assistive technologies, and adaptive equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
