Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsâ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Design and implement community-based occupational therapy programs tailored to diverse populations, including children, adults, and the elderly.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and community leaders to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Provide training and education to clients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and assistive devices to improve daily living skills.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Advocate for client needs and promote awareness of occupational therapy benefits within the community.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client assessments, interventions, and progress reports.
- Participate in professional development activities and stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, with at least 2 years in a community or outpatient setting.
- Valid license or registration to practice Occupational Therapy in Indonesia (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based occupational therapy practices and community health principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in diverse community settings.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools, therapeutic equipment, and digital health records.
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices in a multicultural environment.
