Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Operating Theatre (OT) nursing team, ensuring optimal staffing, training, and performance to deliver exceptional perioperative care.
- Oversee daily OT operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to streamline surgical workflows and enhance patient outcomes.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs, infection control measures, and evidence-based practices in the OT.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols to maintain a safe and efficient surgical environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the adoption of new technologies and methodologies in perioperative care.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with local and international healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and IHH Healthcare’s corporate guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S1 Keperawatan) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Operating Theatre nursing, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Valid Indonesian Nursing License (STR) and certification in perioperative nursing (e.g., CNOR or equivalent).
- Proven track record in managing OT teams, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high clinical standards.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia protocols, and sterile techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly desirable.
