Responsibility
- Assist patients with daily activities, including mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and performing light housekeeping duties.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive and reassuring atmosphere.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of meals, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure all patient documentation is accurately maintained and updated in accordance with organizational policies.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or patient care setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or hospice.
- Certification or training in patient care assistance, nursing aid, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform duties that may require standing or lifting for extended periods.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is a plus.
