Responsibility
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee and ensure the highest standards of nursing care in the labor and delivery unit, adhering to IHH Healthcare’s protocols and international best practices.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of nurses, midwives, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily workflows, resource allocation, and patient flow to optimize efficiency and quality of care in the maternity ward.
- Patient-Centered Care: Champion a compassionate, family-centered approach to labor and delivery, ensuring emotional and physical support for patients and their families.
- Policy & Compliance: Implement and enforce clinical policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards (e.g., JCI, local health authorities) to maintain accreditation and quality benchmarks.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate rapid, effective responses to obstetric emergencies (e.g., high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation) with precision and calm leadership.
- Quality Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, reduce complications, and improve satisfaction scores through data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless, interdisciplinary care.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (S.Kep) or equivalent; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Licensure: Valid Indonesian nursing license (STR) and certification in Labor & Delivery, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR), fetal monitoring, and obstetric emergency procedures.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and inspire high performance in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Certifications: Preferred certifications include Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) or equivalent international credentials.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and a commitment to ethical, patient-first healthcare.
