Responsibility
- Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept ideation to commercial launch for new metal fabrication products
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to create innovative metal solutions that meet market demands
- Develop and implement advanced fabrication techniques to improve product performance, quality, and manufacturability
- Conduct comprehensive material analysis and selection to optimize product characteristics and cost-efficiency
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance existing product lines and manufacturing processes
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in new product development within the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry
- Proven expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and product lifecycle management tools
- Strong knowledge of metal properties, fabrication techniques, and quality control processes
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in complex engineering challenges
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
