Responsibility
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Program, configure, and optimize PLC systems for automated control processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and update technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all engineering activities.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and maintenance staff.
- Participate in project planning and execution for system upgrades and new installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Plant Engineer or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for system design and analysis.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in electrical safety or instrumentation is a plus.
