Responsibility
- Design, plan, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) network architectures to support scalable, high-availability cloud services.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to align network strategies with business and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement network capacity planning models to forecast growth and ensure resource efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze network performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and proposing proactive solutions.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging networking technologies (e.g., SDN, NFV, edge computing) to enhance OCIâs capabilities.
- Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO) and Oracleâs security and reliability policies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in network planning, design, or architecture, with at least 3 years in cloud or large-scale data center environments.
- Deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI) and virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in network modeling, simulation tools, and capacity planning methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certifications) are a plus.
