Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities using advanced SIEM and threat intelligence tools.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Investigate and respond to security breaches, including forensic analysis and incident reporting.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into systems and applications.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees to foster a culture of cyber vigilance.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and attack vectors.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), IDS/IPS, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or OSCP are a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a proactive approach to threat detection and mitigation.
