Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network architectures (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN) to meet business and security requirements.
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.) for high availability and performance.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, including access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Oversee cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) integration with on-premise systems for seamless scalability.
- Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and proactively resolve bottlenecks or outages.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess infrastructure needs and recommend cost-effective, future-proof solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams on infrastructure-related projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, and system administration.
- Proven expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, QoS) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with enterprise networking hardware (Cisco, Palo Alto, Aruba) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with ITIL, DevOps, or Agile methodologies for infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
