Responsibility
- Lead and execute network infrastructure projects, including plant expansions, relocations, and LAN cabling upgrades.
- Design, configure, and maintain network systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
- Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and best practices to optimize performance and security.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or expansion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects and LAN/WAN management.
- Proven expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting (Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching, and network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networking technologies.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
