Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance software applications using modern technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that align with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability through proactive monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Act as a technical liaison with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, clients, and partners to gather requirements and provide updates.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and improve development processes.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (fluent speaking and writing) and English to communicate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in backend and/or full-stack development, with experience in languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices for scalability and performance.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively in a distributed team environment.
