Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network architecture with business objectives and security policies.
- Lead network security initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, threat mitigation, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Document network configurations, processes, and incident reports to maintain transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Provide on-call support for critical network incidents and participate in disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level infrastructure.
- Expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking hardware, as well as SD-WAN and cloud networking (AWS/Azure).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and network security protocols (e.g., IPSec, SSL/TLS).
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, JNCIE, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with global teams.
