Responsibility
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to employees and clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently, escalating complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Document IT support processes, solutions, and user guides for future reference.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide proactive IT support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar role.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common business software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and security best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus.
