Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewalls, and WAF solutions to secure enterprise networks.
- Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Monitor network traffic, detect anomalies, and respond to security incidents in real time.
- Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Optimize firewall rules, VPN configurations, and intrusion prevention systems (IPS) for performance and security.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and hybrid cloud environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders on security best practices.
- Document security architectures, incident reports, and remediation plans for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; certifications like CCNP Security, PCNSE, or CISSP are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Zscaler, Palo Alto Firewalls, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA.
- Proven expertise in WAF (Web Application Firewall) configuration and DDoS protection.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and encryption standards.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and log analysis for threat detection.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and zero-trust architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
