Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute and analyze automated test results, reporting defects and tracking resolutions.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development workflow.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA automation.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in QA automation and software testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong background in SDET roles.
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to document test processes effectively.
