Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize systems for maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to support operational needs and execute network-related projects.
- Configure and manage network hardware (routers, switches, load balancers) and software (SD-WAN, network monitoring tools).
- Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Document network configurations, processes, and incident reports for knowledge sharing.
- Liaise with external vendors, ISPs, and partners to resolve network-related issues and procure hardware/software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, administration, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade networking hardware/software.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and network security protocols.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIA, AWS Certified Advanced Networking) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
