Responsibility
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
- Document and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Assist in writing and maintaining test scripts for regression and functional testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to align testing efforts with development sprints.
- Perform usability and compatibility testing across different devices and browsers.
- Contribute to test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Support basic software development tasks (e.g., debugging, code reviews) under supervision.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with manual testing or exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Appium) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to commit to 400–600 hours of part-time internship.
