Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network services through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Deploy and configure firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers to optimize traffic flow and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce network security policies, access controls, and threat prevention measures.
- Conduct capacity planning, network audits, and performance tuning to support business growth.
- Provide technical leadership in network-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.
- Document network architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Stay ahead of industry trends in SD-WAN, Zero Trust, and cloud networking to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet technologies.
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLAN, STP, VXLAN), and network security (IPsec, SSL/TLS, NAC).
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIP, or Fortinet NSE are highly preferred.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) and SIEM solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex network issues under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments is a plus.
