Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless networks to support business operations.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and security appliances to ensure network integrity and protection.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network systems with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and procedures to optimize efficiency and security.
- Conduct regular network audits, capacity planning, and upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative network solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei technologies.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCNA, JNCIA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, QoS, and network security protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark) and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proven ability to design and implement high-availability network architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
