Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network infrastructures for enterprise-level clients.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize connectivity to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking hardware to support business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business objectives and IT strategies.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and access controls.
- Conduct regular network audits, vulnerability assessments, and disaster recovery planning to mitigate risks.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and end-users, ensuring smooth network operations.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions for network enhancement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade networking equipment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and other networking protocols.
- Hands-on experience with network security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid network architectures is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
