Responsibility
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise-grade network solutions including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide timely resolutions.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network systems with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise infrastructure.
- Conduct regular network audits, capacity planning, and documentation to ensure compliance and scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Huawei networking hardware and software (CCNA/CCNP certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching (VLAN, STP), and network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) and packet analysis (Wireshark).
- Familiarity with cloud networking, SD-WAN, and zero-trust security models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders and vendors.
