Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Manage and configure multi-vendor firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) to ensure optimal security and performance.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with cloud platforms and on-premises systems.
- Develop and enforce network security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard data integrity.
- Lead network capacity planning and scalability initiatives to support business growth.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in configuring and managing multi-vendor firewalls and SD-WAN solutions.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN) and security standards.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
