Responsibility
- Oversee the engineering design, planning, and execution of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations.
- Provide on-site supervision and technical support to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
- Collaborate with MPD engineers to develop and implement drilling plans and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze drilling data to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor junior staff and rig crews on MPD techniques and best practices.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, logs, and documentation of drilling activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in drilling operations, with at least 3 years in MPD.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of MPD systems, equipment, and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in remote locations and under challenging conditions.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
