Join Environ Consulting Services (M) Sdn Bhd as a Site Engineer for a groundbreaking Waste-to-Energy (WtE) project in Peninsular Malaysia. Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for the Waste-to-Energy project, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with Ramboll’s Owner’s Engineer team to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on construction quality, timelines, and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and approve technical drawings, method statements, and material submissions to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Monitor budget and resource allocation, providing recommendations to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with local and international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical insights and progress updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in site engineering, preferably in energy or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in project management, construction supervision, and quality control.
- Familiarity with Waste-to-Energy technologies, renewable energy projects, or similar large-scale infrastructure developments.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required and commit to a 2-year contract.
