Responsibility
- Perform inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft engines and components in compliance with FAA/EASA and OEM specifications.
- Develop and optimize tooling solutions to improve repair efficiency, precision, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring technical issues and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including work orders, repair reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., AS9100, Part 145).
- Support engine testing and performance validation post-repair to verify airworthiness.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in aerospace MRO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., FAA A&P, EASA Part-66) are a plus.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aerospace MRO, engine repair, or aviation maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools, NDT methods, and specialized aerospace tooling.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, CAAS) and industry standards (e.g., AS9100).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-stakes environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a multicultural work environment.
