Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain PLC programs for custom automation machines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT, or CODESYS).
- Implement and optimize motion control algorithms for servo systems, ensuring high precision and real-time performance.
- Develop multi-axis coordination logic for complex machine sequencing, including synchronization and interpolation.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate software with hardware components (motors, encoders, sensors).
- Troubleshoot and debug PLC code, motion profiles, and system communication (e.g., Ethernet, CANopen, Profibus).
- Conduct system testing, validation, and performance tuning to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Document software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals for internal and client use.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming (IEC 61131-3) and motion control systems for industrial automation.
- Proficiency in servo tuning, PID control, and trajectory planning for multi-axis systems.
- Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, EtherCAT, OPC UA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues in real-time systems.
- Experience with HMI development (e.g., WinCC, Ignition) and SCADA integration is a plus.
- Familiarity with robotics frameworks (ROS, ROS2) or CNC programming is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in cross-functional, international teams.
