Responsibility
- Provide advanced break-fix maintenance and troubleshooting for iOS and Android applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Lead the deployment, configuration, and updates of mobile app components in production and staging environments.
- Monitor app performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for mobile support processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and propose long-term solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior support engineers and contribute to team training initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies, OS updates, and industry trends to proactively address potential risks.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in mobile application support, with expertise in iOS and Android platforms.
- Proven track record in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex mobile app issues.
- Strong knowledge of mobile app architectures, APIs, and backend integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and mobile deployment tools (e.g., Fastlane, Firebase).
- Proficiency in logging and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Sentry, Crashlytics).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with global teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and ITIL best practices is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
