Are you a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Developer with a passion for optimizing integrations and building scalable solutions? Techmed Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Senior BC Developer for a 12-month contract to lead the refactoring of legacy OData V4 integrations into modern, high-performance BC standard and custom APIs.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system interoperability, streamline business processes, and deliver robust, maintainable code. Your expertise in AL development and API design will be critical in driving digital transformation for our clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central extensions using AL language.
- Refactor and migrate existing OData V4 integrations to modern BC standard/custom APIs for improved performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following Microsoft best practices and SOLID principles.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues across BC and third-party systems.
- Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC) and data encryption.
- Conduct code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to development standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Dynamics 365 BC features, updates, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer.
- Proficient in AL development, API design, and OData integrations.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and JSON/XML data formats.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
