Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Automate cloud operations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and enhance deployment efficiency.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Conduct cost analysis and optimize cloud resource utilization to align with budgetary goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and evaluate new cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud operations, DevOps, or SRE roles with a focus on public cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with IaC tools.
- Deep understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or Scrum methodologies and a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global, remote team environment.
