In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Merchandise Manager to ensure seamless execution of buyer requests, from concept to delivery. Your expertise in furniture merchandising, supplier coordination, and market trend analysis will be pivotal in expanding our product lines and maintaining our reputation for quality and innovation.

Responsibility
- Lead product development initiatives in collaboration with buyers, factories, and vendors to meet client specifications and market demands.
- Manage end-to-end merchandising processes, including sample development, cost negotiation, and production timelines.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in furniture design, materials, and consumer preferences.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, logistics) to ensure on-time delivery and quality control.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, evaluating performance and negotiating contracts to secure competitive pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, providing data-driven recommendations for assortment optimization.
- Prepare and present merchandising reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and ethical sourcing practices in all supplier engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry.
- Proven track record in product development, vendor management, and cost negotiation.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and merchandising software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Indonesian language proficiency is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
- Deep understanding of supply chain logistics and international trade regulations.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design trends and consumer behavior.
