Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end MEP engineering process for data center projects, from conceptual design to final commissioning.
- Develop and optimize MEP designs to enhance energy efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and compliance with local and international standards.
- Provide technical support during procurement, including vendor selection, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee on-site MEP installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and value engineering to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory approvals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP engineering for data centers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 3 years focused on data center or mission-critical facility projects.
- Proficiency in MEP design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE) and local building codes.
- Experience with energy-efficient design, sustainability practices, and green building certifications.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
