Responsibility
- Develop detailed MEP drawings (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) in compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design intent and ensure accuracy in technical documentation.
- Review and validate drawings for code compliance, constructability, and clash detection using BIM tools.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and fabrication details for contractors and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with on-site teams to address RFIs (Requests for Information) and implement design revisions efficiently.
- Maintain organized project documentation and version control for all drawings and revisions.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in MEP drafting and BIM.
- Mentor junior drafters and provide technical guidance to ensure team consistency and quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in MEP drafting for building services, with a portfolio showcasing complex projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks (or similar BIM software).
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical layouts, piping, and fire protection.
- Familiarity with local Indonesian building codes (SNIs) and international standards (ASHRAE, NEC, IBC).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
