Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for plumbing and hydraulic systems using Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient MEP coordination.
- Perform clash detection and resolution to optimize system performance and construction feasibility.
- Generate high-quality shop drawings, schematics, and as-built documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards and project specifications.
- Mentor junior BIM modellers and provide technical guidance on best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide BIM-related insights to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP BIM modelling, with a focus on plumbing/hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of Australian plumbing and hydraulic standards.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication skills.
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
