Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple data centers, ensuring 99.999% uptime and adherence to SLAs.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data center professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and cost savings.
- Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in data center operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, mission-critical data center environments.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and security systems.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with industry certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, ISO 27001, LEED) is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with a customer-centric mindset.
