Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes, ensuring alignment with project specifications and regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and failure mode analysis to enhance system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers, to integrate instrumentation solutions into broader operational frameworks.
- Oversee the calibration, testing, and maintenance of instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols for instrumentation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real-time, providing root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system performance, reduce costs, and enhance energy efficiency.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders, including senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in industrial automation, manufacturing, or process control.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), SCADA systems, and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC, ISO) and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ATEX).
- Experience with calibration tools, loop testing, and troubleshooting instrumentation hardware.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, AI, and predictive maintenance, is an advantage.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with fluency in English.
