Responsibility
- Advise and assist the Chief Control Engineer in optimizing refinery operations and control systems.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced control strategies to enhance process efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and automation solutions.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and compliance standards for control systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for system upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on control system operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control engineering, preferably in a refinery or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in control system software and tools (e.g., PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to control systems and safety.
- Experience with predictive maintenance and data-driven decision-making.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to project sites as required.
