Responsibility
- Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to identify clients’ medical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams and community partners.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling to clients and families navigating medical or social challenges.
- Coordinate with local hospitals, clinics, and NGOs to ensure seamless access to resources and support services.
- Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within healthcare systems and social service agencies.
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on topics such as chronic illness management, mental health, and caregiving.
- Maintain detailed case documentation and progress reports in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Evaluate and adjust care plans based on clients’ evolving needs and feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work (or related field) with a focus on medical or community social work.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Social Worker, preferably in community or healthcare settings.
- Licensed or certified social worker (e.g., LCSW, MSW) with a valid practice credential.
- Proven ability to conduct psychosocial assessments and develop evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English (additional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Experience working with multicultural populations and adapting services to diverse cultural contexts.
- Familiarity with local healthcare systems and social services in Bali or Indonesia is advantageous.
