As a Senior Mechanical Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, analysis, testing, and documentation of high-precision mechanical systems for gas purification applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teamsâincluding R&D, manufacturing, and quality assuranceâto develop robust, scalable solutions that meet stringent industry standards. Your expertise will directly impact the performance, reliability, and efficiency of critical systems used in semiconductor fabrication, clean energy, and other high-purity environments.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for gas purification, including pressure vessels, piping, valves, and filtration components.
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to optimize system performance and durability.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including engineering drawings, BOMs, and test reports in compliance with ASME, ISO, and industry-specific standards.
- Collaborate with R&D and process engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs with chemical and thermal systems for seamless functionality.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes, including pressure, leak, and fatigue testing, to ensure reliability under extreme conditions.
- Identify and resolve design flaws or manufacturing challenges through root-cause analysis and iterative improvements.
- Support scale-up and commercialization of new technologies, working closely with production teams to ensure manufacturability.
- Stay current with emerging trends in mechanical engineering, materials science, and gas purification to drive continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design, with a focus on high-purity, high-pressure, or semiconductor applications.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) and simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of materials selection for corrosive or high-purity environments (e.g., stainless steel, Hastelloy, PTFE).
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME BPVC, PED, or SEMATECH guidelines for semiconductor equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-engineering stakeholders.
