Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies, stress analysis, and tolerance stack-ups to ensure design integrity.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for production, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
- Prepare and review detailed engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical specifications.
- Prototype and test mechanical designs, iterating based on performance data and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio in SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and CFD tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
- Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
