Responsibility
- Assemble and install electrical components and systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Perform thorough testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, test results, and maintenance activities.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, providing recommendations for improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Adhere to quality control procedures and industry regulations to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment used in assembly and testing processes.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, installation, or maintenance, preferably in a defense or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
