Responsibility
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for ACMV systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP).
- Create accurate shop drawings, layouts, and schematics for HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems in compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs and optimal system performance.
- Perform load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection for ACMV systems to meet project requirements and local regulations.
- Review and validate BIM models for code compliance, energy efficiency, and constructability.
- Coordinate with contractors and site teams to resolve design conflicts and provide technical support during installation.
- Stay updated with the latest BIM standards, ACMV technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Prepare and present technical reports, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and as-built documentation for client approvals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ACMV design, BIM modeling, or MEP coordination, preferably in the construction or consulting industry.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools. Knowledge of MagikCAD or similar ACMV-specific software is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork design, and mechanical ventilation principles.
- Familiarity with local and international building codes (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, SNI for Indonesia).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, hospitality, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Certifications in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) or LEED/Green Building are a plus.
