Responsibility
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on rolling stock components, including brakes, doors, propulsion systems, and electrical circuits.
- Perform corrective maintenance (CM) to resolve faults, malfunctions, or failures in rail vehicles, ensuring minimal service disruption.
- Inspect and test rolling stock systems using diagnostic tools and software to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Document all maintenance activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and repair logs, in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and operations staff, to implement maintenance best practices and improve system reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations (e.g., ISO, local rail authority standards) during all maintenance operations.
- Assist in the development and updating of maintenance procedures, manuals, and training materials for technical staff.
- Participate in emergency response teams to address critical failures and restore service as quickly as possible.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in rolling stock maintenance, rail systems, or heavy machinery servicing.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles for rail vehicles or similar industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and rail-specific software (e.g., CMMS).
- Certification in rail safety, electrical systems, or mechanical maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
