Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems for large-scale projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to optimize system performance and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for mechanical installations, ensuring timely delivery.
- Perform rigorous inspections, testing, and commissioning to validate system compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs using AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and propose innovative, sustainable solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for construction, with a focus on high-end or commercial projects.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems design and installation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, and MS Project or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO) and Indonesian building codes.
- Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills in English.
- Experience working in Southeast Asia or tropical climates is highly advantageous.
- PE (Professional Engineer) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
