Responsibility
- Supervise and monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) in accordance with project specifications.
- Develop and review MEP drawings, schematics, and technical submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance with codes (e.g., SNI, ASHRAE, NFPA).
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to verify adherence to safety, performance, and sustainability standards.
- Prepare technical reports, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and cost estimates for mechanical components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure project timelines are met.
- Ensure all installations comply with local regulations, environmental guidelines, and client requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and training as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on building services, HVAC, or plumbing systems.
- Proven track record of managing MEP projects from design to handover, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or residential sectors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software; familiarity with ETAP or HAP is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian building codes (SNI) and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISO).
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
