Responsibility
- Lead the design, analysis, and specification of HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations to ensure optimal performance and compliance with ASHRAE, local codes, and sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with architectural, electrical, and plumbing designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Oversee site inspections and commissioning to verify system installation and performance meet project specifications.
- Provide cost estimates, value engineering, and lifecycle analysis for mechanical systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients to resolve technical challenges.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in HVAC, such as smart controls, renewable energy integration, and passive design strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Masterās degree or PE license is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in building services mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC design.
- Proven track record in large-scale projects (commercial, hospitality, or healthcare preferred).
- Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and HVAC-specific software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane Trace).
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, CIBSE) and Indonesian building codes.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Experience with sustainable design certifications (LEED, Green Mark, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in Bali, Indonesia (relocation support may be provided for exceptional candidates).
