Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for power generation projects, including renewable energy sources.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load flow analysis, and short-circuit calculations to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and reports for electrical components and systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs with mechanical, civil, and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NFPA) and local regulations for power generation facilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Perform site assessments, commissioning, and troubleshooting for electrical systems in power plants.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in power generation and electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power generation (e.g., thermal, hydro, solar, wind).
- Proven expertise in power system analysis (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, or DIgSILENT).
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems, switchgear, transformers, and protective relaying.
- Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams in a global context.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a remote, international team.
- Familiarity with sustainable energy solutions and smart grid technologies is a plus.
