Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automotive and industrial automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and robotics integration.
- Oversee machine setup, commissioning, and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Develop mechanical designs and cost-effective solutions for automation projects, optimizing performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and reports for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, and mechanical engineers) to deliver end-to-end automation solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies for new automation projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation engineering, with a focus on automotive or industrial systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider) and HMI development (e.g., SCADA, WinCC).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and automation software.
- Experience with robotics integration (e.g., ABB, KUKA, Fanuc) and motion control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IEC, OSHA) and safety protocols for automation systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with fluency in English (written and verbal).
